Mistress of Mischief

Mischievous is not a word I hear often used. It suggests playfulness and naughtiness. Perhaps it’s the infant of ‘Machiavellian’ which has broader recognition and scope.

Welding power with great cunning and sinister motives, may describe say, secret societies whose emblems peer at us on all our money. A foolish rebel against all sense is the character of this story. So, a ‘micro -player’ in the realm of dark deeds. But, deceptive and alluring most certainly they are.

Anyone who has been lied to, betrayed, and humiliated for no recognizable reason, knows such things exist. Flattery it part of the fools arsenal of tools, to lead the unsuspecting down the faux-gold path.

And, fools are what they are. A ‘fool’ is another word that seems to have dropped from common use. We use moron now. Someone of puny intellect, or non-existent one. A drone who follows along with any dumb thing to their own peril and others.

Halloween is a celebration of fools, that is, historically, a night when those who did not fear God undercover of darkness, haunted their neighbors with tricks, traps, and illusions. Witches, ghouls, and blood sucking vampires – characters in costume kind of like politicians the last thirty years- parade about as if there is no God.

There is that John Kerry, for example, speaking of ghouls, who insisted with almost irate and bloodthirsty passion, “We must remove all restrictions on abortion!!”

Really? Was that any voters’ moral imperative in that decade’s election?? And, empire- building- wars that keep the one percent’s money flowing?? More blood. What American tax payer voted for Renewing the ancient practice of witches, ghouls, and secret societies? And, Aztecs and Vampires, and Vikings..all bloodthirsty peoples.

Ghouls there are. Secret societies, too. These are not make believe things originated in the minds of Hollywood executives.

These creatures of night have been here long before Hollywood shows ‘normalized’ them in our culture. They have haunted me all my life. There’s one here now upstairs where I live, I call her “Mistress of Mischief. “

She coos and caresses my spellbound neighbor by night- who acts like a cat. Not like a man. He looks like a puppet- glazed over- speaking and acting like a Pinocchio doll. This creature is cleverly disguised as a loving, compassionate, Catholic woman who attends Mass every morning.

They play there parts well, dramatically changing roles from one to another. They dress as executives, world leaders, husbands, and priests. And, work night and day to achieve their “New World Global Order.”

Fools who imagine there is no God. We’ll See.
