Systems and Squares

An unfortunate result of systems humans develop (or systems created for them depending on which side of production you are on) is that, someone or many ones get screwed. Democracy itself, as has been practiced and distorted into something else, is screwing people en masse.

Democracy and “systems” are not exactly compatible. That should be obvious by now that we see how many people – in fact humans globally, are being screwed for decades long now.

It’s a screw phenomenon not just on a personal level that the Walmart shoppers are experiencing. Or, like the black community has been experiencing largely my lifetime. The system is screwing us because human beings will never fit into boxes created for them.

Americans used to believe stereotyping people was a bad thing. Technically speaking, our nation was founded by people who believed that human beings are not their origins, not their race, or social or economic status. Citizens are human beings first. They are not to be trodden under foot regardless of others’ imposed beliefs on them.

Freeing human beings from oppression means literary making a law that prevents us from living in boxes people try to put us in. No stereotyping, no exclusions and no privileges, based on our material or outward appearance in life. Liberty effervescent! Isn’t that what LBGTQ+ people promote?

As such now, anyone can pretend to be an oppressed person fairly easily- just to fit into the boxes the state requires us to check. The oppressed and oppressor status of millions of peoples, over the course of history, is way too complicated to calculate.

So, the system created is not liberating people. It’s enslaving everyone by forcing us to identify as oppressed just to live. We pay homage to a system that is creating confusion on purpose, and thereby become enslaved.

Like I said, Democracy and systems are not naturally compatible. Humans are not square!

I never fit into a box. And, trying to report my condition in life to a SNAP customer service person is creating an identity crisis. Any effort I make to free myself from bowing down, asking for help is met with frustration, humiliation, and retaliation.

Shouldn’t I try my best to do what I am able to serve my best interest?? Work, keep a roof over my head? Eat, too. I would if I can find actual food not food as defined by the system creators. I mean, food that is life sustaining, original food that contains nutrition!

The SNAP person seems also to be having system failure because no one told her people can’t live in her boxes. Many people exist in a system or ‘boxed reality.’

People live in a box-like dwellings. Often work in cubicles, watch squarish devices to interact with the world- either TV or cell phone. But, they are not boxes themselves neither are they necessarily conscious of their confined, programmed reality experience.

Nobody can live according to a “system”, survive, and thrive. Even if it works for some, inevitably someone else is getting screwed on the other side of its rules and regulations. A system requires conformity and obedience to it. Narrow thinking. Subjugation.

If you believe a bigger, more powerful system is the solution, well… I can’t reasonably argue with you because you’d be blind to it’s limitations. No point.

But, I suggest instead of being citizens serving “systems” and living in an endless power struggle with the beast that’s been created, why don’t we just be human beings again, instead?

Democracy exists is for human beings benefit and liberty. Not the other way around. Democracy becomes a god when we mistakenly imagine it to be all-powerful, all good, and requires no recognition of failure or accountability to other human beings.

The system is failing because democracy is not a system. Progressives tried to make it an all-powerful one. But, it’s become an unruly beast in which we reap what we sow. We cannot escape the consequences of our behavior regardless how much “the system” teaches otherwise.

Do we remember what being a human is like? Experiencing the sun on our face, the delight of our animal companions. The liberty to thing act and choose what is in our own best interest…instead of being told what to do constantly by machines, mandates, and multiple levels of bureaucracy??

The systems don’t work because we are not designed to serve systems. Humanity is designed to serve God.
